Aperture: The aperture measures the depth of field. Aperture is measured in F Stop. The higher the F Stop, the lower the depth of field. The lower the F Stop the Higher the depth of field.
Shutter Speed: The shutter speed is the speed of the shot. This is measured in fractions of a second e.g. 1/1000. When using low speed e.g. 1/30 - 8 you must use a tripod. When using 1/125 - 1/60 you can hand hold it and it will show motion. When using a high speed e.g. 1/1000 - 1/250 you freeze all motion in the picture.
ISO: The ISO is the sensitivity of light. A higher ISO will make an image lighter and a lower ISO will make it darker. However, the higher the ISO the grainier and noisier the picture. But with a low ISO the picture will be more crisp.
